A funder day in the park with two thunders…

After hiking around all morning in Brightons backcountry with my extremely heavy photo backpack equipped with multiple flashes and tripods, we decided to have a little fun in the park before packing up and heading to Del Taco…It was just the three of us, Ben Gustafson, Will Tuddenham and myself (Dave Brewer)…I didn’t know that Will could do handplants, but he proved me wrong! The photos tell the story:

Blue House Skis Rail Jam results

It was exquisite morning with tuxedos and prom dresses. A full black tie event was going down. With over 50 competitors the field was stacked. Skiers from all over joined in the 1st annual Blue House Rail Jam. Kids were spinning on and off the rails. It was wild, all wile sporting ties. We all had a great time, everyone rode well and the weather was perfect. Big thanks to Blue House and their awesome crew. (more…)

A day in the park…

The snow slowed for a couple of days so we left the backcountry and headed up to Brighton to take a few park laps.  In this most recent edit, you will learn:How to practice for the street.About our extensive filmmaking program. How devoted we are in becoming the next Mack Dawg…? This year’s Bald E-Gal Production will have a little twist.  We will be going into the minds of many riders, that come from many places, and provide many unique personalities.  BroBra will supply the snowboard community with opinions that may be encouraging, emotional, delightful, or just may piss people off.Rider list: Dan Brisse, David Kunz, Ezra Jacobson, Tony Conrad, Mike Casanova, Josh Sherman, Bjorn Hartweger, Erik Christensen, and many others we have run, or will run across this season… For the mean time, enjoy.

Good times on Presidents Day

Twas a warm winter day, Presidents Day to be exact, at Brighton Ski Resort with epic sunshine, great setups, and the park was dressed to impress. Jon Spiris and I set out for a grand adventure. There were tons and tons of people there but we still managed to have high five moments and photo magic happen. After taking a couple of warm up laps Jon, and I decided to do work (while still having fun of course). We met up with some of the infamous park crew, Helen Wade, E-Fern, Alex Andrews and said hello and told them how fun everything was. Lap after lap shot after shot we still weren’t ready to leave the park was just to much fun! after filling my card with 150 pretty near banger shots we decided to throw the cams in the car and all take some rippers. Needless to say on my 2nd lap riding I broke my shoulder, but still was at a stoke level of 10. Ended the day in the Brighton Clinic with a awesome ski patroller and amazing doctors at the clinic.
