Alright Kids…Get excited. If you gave it your all and did well in the Super Brighton World competition then your name was read by some of the big shots in the Snowboarding industry. This Saturday Night come join us for a unique event.   

The strong winds made it almost impossible for the fine people at Arkade Magazine to set up their tents and banners of fellow sponsors of the Arkade Games competition on Saturday March 1st. Despite the weather and the flat light, I was able to get a few subpar shots of many of the riders…Here is a preview. Congratulations to 1st place Brady Monk, winner of the March 8, 2008 Bluehouse Urban Classic Slopestyle Event. Brady threw down switch 7′s and stomped 900 airs to take home the grand prize, a brand new pair of Bluehouse MR 179 skis, Anon goggles and $100 gift certificate to tramdock.com. Close behind Brady were 2nd place Tanner Kadlack, and Josh Gifford placed 3rd. 4th place overall and winner of the women’s category was 20 year old Kristie Giles. A shout also goes out to Groms of the comp, CJ Bode age 13 and Nick Fromm age 10 who won their age divisions and skied away with brand new pairs of Anon goggles. Well, after a couple names, more edits, and few long nights, here is the teaser. We are going to be doing extensive interviews with riders and show the life of snowboarders, many coming from the Midwest, and others from various locations. It is going to be a good attempt at doing a flick snowboard oriented, but also throwing more of a creative – storytelling touch to things. Enjoy. Let us know what you think.
