Put that in your Pipe and Jib it

The “Put that in your pipe and jib it” was a great success. Even though the weather conditions were bad, we had the Brighton Park Crew, sponsors, and kids who entered the contest helped get things together. The set up was super fun. They had everything from corrugated pipe, bonks, boxes, to rails all set up along the sides of the mini pipe. The all around snowboard winner, Everest Arnold, 18, killed it from beginning to end. He had solid lines, stomping banger tricks such as, switch back lip on the flat box, hand plants, and a sick front 180 to switch nose press on the slant box. Lisa Swift, 19, took the all around girls by laying down a front 270. 11 year old Walter Shearon won all around skier, stole the competition by doing crazy switch ups on the features. At the end of the competition, we had a heated battle for best trick between Clint Kyle, Aaron Christenson, and Tanner Kapleck. 23, Tanner Kapleckwon by stomping the trick with a D-spin 540 spine transfer. After announcing the winners, all the kids got all sorts of swag from our sponsors, Satch, Surf Utah, AMS, Blindside Skate Shop, and Revolution.
