DCP hand plant in Brightons Pipe
DCP Signs with Northwave/Drake
Northwave North America (NNA) is proud to announce that David Carrier Porcheron has signed a two year contract to ride on Northwave boots and Drake bindings. The French-Canadian has been a professional rider for the last 10+ years, working with major film productions and competing in key contests around the world. Recently participating in a photo shoot at Brighton Resort, the whole team was able to test out the 2010 line before its release at SIA and ISPO.

Brighton Bunch episode 1
Brighton has been getting hit hard lately with storm after storm. After we came back to Salt Lake from a little Holiday break it was on. Northwave Photo-Shoot at Brighton Resort
Nature waits for no one, so when the getting is good, you better be getting it. When the skies parted over Big Cottonwood Canyon, the Northwave team booted up and made the trek up to Brighton for two bluebird days of light, crisp Utah powder.
New recruit DCP and photographer Robbie Sell joined Northwave team riders Seth Huot, Patrick McCarthy, Alexis Waite and Matt Beardmore as they enjoyed “The best snow on earth” while testing the 2010 Northwave line.
In town for a sales meeting, the team was fortunate to have Salt Lake City native Seth Huot to show them the ins and outs of Brighton’s inbound and backcountry terrain. Cliffs were dropped, airs were launched, pow was slashed, photos were taken and après beverages were had.
The photo shoot was a success on all accounts. The team had a great time and was in agreement that the new Northwave products are better than ever. Look for photos from the shoot in next year’s ads and online at northwave.com.
